We invite you to register for the 47th IAEE International Conference, taking place from July 19 to 22, 2026, at the Centro de Extensión Alameda of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, in the heart of Santiago. This global event will bring together leading voices from academia, industry, government, and civil society to discuss the critical challenges and opportunities shaping energy systems worldwide.

 

Under the theme “Bridging Continents, Fueling Progress: Energy Development in a Global Context,” the conference will provide a dynamic and inclusive platform to explore energy transition, finance, innovation, critical raw materials, and cooperation across regions.

Registration Fees

 

Participant Category

  • Early Fee: until May 15, 2026.

  • Late Fee: after May 15, 2026.

Note: Presenting authors must register by June 1, 2026, to be included in the final conference program.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective: August 2025

 

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may affect your ability to attend the 47th IAEE International Conference. The following policy applies to all registration categories.

 

1. Cancellation by Participants

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email to [email protected].
  • Cancellations received on or before May 31, 2026 are subject to a non-refundable administrative fee of $200 USD.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after May 31, 2026.
  • No refunds will be granted for no-shows.
  • No exceptions will be made to this policy.
  • If you are unable to attend, you may request a registration transfer to a colleague from your organization at no additional cost, provided the request is made by June 30, 2026 and approved by the Organizing Committee.

 

2. Cancellation of Optional Items

  • Optional add-ons (e.g., special/technical activities, tours, or networking events) are refundable if cancelled on or before May 31, 2026, subject to a $20 USD processing fee.
  • No refunds will be issued for optional items after this date.

 

3. Refunds for Presenting Authors

  • Presenting authors who cancel their registration after June 1, 2026 will have their submission removed from the final program and proceedings, and will not be eligible for a refund.

 

4. Event Modifications or Cancellation

  • The Organizing Committee reserves the right to make changes to the program, venue, or format (including hybrid or virtual adjustments) due to public health or other extraordinary circumstances.
  • In the event of full event cancellation, all paid registration fees will be refunded, minus unrecoverable expenses and costs.
  • The IAEE, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and the Local and International Organizing Committees shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property, or for additional costs or losses due to any unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, civil unrest, public health emergencies, or travel disruptions.
  • Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel, lodging, and personal insurance. In the event of full conference cancellation, only paid registration fees will be refunded, minus unrecoverable expenses and costs. No liability is assumed for third-party expenses.

 

5. Processing of Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 30 business days after written confirmation.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment only.
